La cancion "By My Side" del grupo INXS fue escrita por Andrew Farriss y Michael Hutchence, e incluida en el album X del año 1990. El tema logro el puesto Nº23 en Australia y el Nº42 en el Reino Unido.
INXS, grupo australiano formado en Sidney en el año 1977 por los hermanos Farriss.
Su estilo de música es pop, rock, new wave.rock alternativo.
Lanzaron su primer álbum de estudio en el año 1980, el disco llamado "INXS" y a lo largo de las décadas del 80 y 90 han sacado numerosas canciones exitosas que llevaron al grupo a ser uno de los mas importantes en dichos años.
En el año 1997 fallece su vocalista y principal figura Michael Hutchence.
A partir de ahí el grupo estuvo un año inactivo pero luego continuo su actividad probando con diferentes cantantes.
