La canción "You Are Not Alone" fue escrita por R. Kelly y grabada por Michael Jackson a finales del año 1994. La misma fue lanzada en el mes de agosto del año 1995, en el album HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I, alcanzando rápidamente el Nº1 en el Billboard Hot 100 de los Estados Unidos, y en muchos otros países, como por ejemplo, España, Bélgica, Reino Unido, Francia, Suiza, Irlanda, etc.
El tema fue un rotundo éxito comercial y uno de sus trabajos mas vendidos, llegando al millón de copias en los Estados Unidos, y fue nominado a los premios Grammy y American Music Awards.
Michael Joseph Jackson, mejor conocido por Michael Jackson, fue un gran artista estadounidense originario de Gary, Indiana. Nació en el año 1958 y tuvo una exitosa carrera musical a lo largo de toda su trayectoria, siendo nombrado el Rey del Pop.
Fue cantante, bailarín, compositor, productor, coreógrafo, y arreglista.
Comenzó su actividad en el año 1964, integrando junto a sus hermanos, el grupo Jackson Brothers, donde empezó a destacarse y convertirse en el vocalista junto a su hermano Jermaine. Luego el grupo cambio su nombre por "The Jackson Five".
En el año 1972, cuando tenia tan solo 14 años de edad, comenzó su carrera como solista, lanzando el primer álbum llamado "Got To Be There".
En 1982 lanzo su espectacular album llamado "Thriller", el cual se mantuvo 80 semanas seguidas en el Top10 de la lista Billboard 200, siendo 37 semanas Nº1. Además este álbum fue el mas vendido de todos los tiempos.
