Phillip David Charles, alias Phil Collins, británico nacido en Chiswick, Middlesex en el año 1951.
Es cantante, compositor, pianista, baterista, actor, etc...
Comienza su actividad en el año 1967, y en 1970 formo parte del grupo "Genesis" , siendo el baterista y luego en el año 1975, el cantante principal, luego de la retirada de Peter Gabriel.
En 2011, dio por finalizada su carrera, por problemas en su salud.
Sus principales estilos de musica fueron pop, rock, rock progresivo.
