La canción "Carrie" del grupo Europe, una de las mejores baladas de los 80's, llego al puesto Nº3 en los Estados Unidos en el Ranking de Billboard y Nº1 en Radio and Records Chart.
Europe, grupo sueco de Upplands Väsby, Estocolmo, formado en el año 1979.con el nombre "Force".
En 1982 tras presentarse a un concurso de talentos, cambiaron su nombre por "Europe".
Su estilo de música es hard rock, heavy metal, glam metal.
El primer álbum de estudio que lanzaron fue el disco "Europe" en el año 1983, y su mayor éxito sin dudas fue "The Final Countdown" disco que incluyo las canciones "The Final Countdown" y el tema "Carrie".
