La canción "It Must Have Been Love" del grupo Roxette, fue escrita por Per Gessle y lanzada en el año 1987 bajo el nombre "It Must Have Been Love (Christmas For The Broken-Hearted)", con la idea de crear un tema para la navidad que fuera un impacto.
Inmediatamente se convirtió en un éxito en Suecia.
En el año 1990 lanzaron la versión llamada solo "It Must Have Been Love" para la película Pretty Woman, con algunos cambios con respecto a la primer versión. Esta reedición se transformo en un suceso mundial siendo Nº1 en EE.UU y otros países.
Roxette, grupo sueco compuesto por el dúo de Per Gessle y Marie Fredriksson.
El grupo se formo en el año 1986 en Halmstad, Suecia y alcanzaron la fama en el año 1989.con la canción "The Look".
Antes de formarse Roxette ambos integrantes eran considerados como el mejor compositor y la mejor cantante de Suecia.
Junto con el grupo ABBA, Roxette es visto como uno de los mejores grupos de la historia en Suecia
El estilo de música de sus canciones es pop, pop rock, new wave.
