La canción "Heaven" del grupo Warrant fue escrita por Jani Lane y lanzada en el álbum Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich del año 1989.
La balada alcanzo el puesto Nº1 del magazine Rolling Stone, y el puesto Nº2 en el Billboard Hot 100 de los Estados Unidos. Además el tema se convirtió en el mayor éxito comercial del grupo Warrant hasta ese momento.
Warrant es una banda estadounidense de hard rock, heavy metal, y glam metal, formada en el año 1984 en Hollywood, California.
El grupo se dio a conocer como obsesionados por el sexo, junto con un perverso sentido del humor.
En el año 1989 lanzaron su primer album de estudio llamado Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich, el cual incluyo la balada Heaven, y un año mas tarde lanzaron el album Cherry Pie, que obtuvo éxito masivo.
La banda comenzó a perder su popularidad con el pasar de los años, y en el año 2011 su líder y vocalista Jani Lane fue encontrado muerto en la habitación de un hotel.
El grupo sigue en actividad, y su vocalista actual es Robert Mason.
