Marillion, banda británica con origen en Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
Se formaron en el año 1979 y desde el año 1983 han estado constantemente grabando discos.
El primer álbum de estudio, lanzado en 1983, se llamo "Script for a Jester's Tear".
El disco "Holidays in Eden", es considerado su álbum mas comercial.
Su genero de musica pasa por rock, rock progresivo, rock neo-progresivo.
